  1. Grand Rapids Community College has announced a 0.9 percent tuition hike for the 2022-23 school year. The hike equates to a $1 increase per contact hour. The increase was unanimously approved by the college's Board of Trustees at a Monday night meeting. (MLive.com)
  2. The Grand Rapids Fire Department has ruled the fire at Wealthy Street's Tatum Bookbinding shop as arson. The incident began on Mar. 14 when a two-alarm fire erupted at the shop. Investigators found evidence of a forced entry and were suspicious of how the fire behaved. Initial reports do not believe it was an inside job. (WOODTV.com)
  3. Southbound U.S. 131 lanes were closed due to a Tuesday night crash. Traffic was backed up for miles after the freeway was closed at Hall Street exit 83A, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation. The lanes reportedly reopened at 6:15 p.m. (MLive.com)
