1. Housing Next has announced a new initiative to identify and remove the obstacle affecting housing supply in Kent County. The initiative will work closely with the Grand Rapids Chamber to ensure that the solutions provide a thriving and prosperous community for everyone in West Michigan. The initiative will work with non-profits, for-profits, and public sector partners to accomplish this goal. (Press Release Desk)
2. A new furniture liquidation boutique opens its doors at 444 Leonard St. NW in Grand Rapids. The 4,000 square foot store will include a retail showroom and a warehouse space to provide an equitable option to traditional home goods stores. FURN sells rugs, beds, couches, dining room tables, pillows, art prints, and much more. (MLive.com)
3. The Grand Rapids Public Library announces that they will resume normal library hours beginning on Mar. 14. 2022. The decision was made after the library's board of commissioners held a vote. Visitors to the library are encouraged to wear masks but a mandate is not in place. (WOODTV.com)
