- Housing Next has announced a new initiative to identify and remove the obstacle affecting housing supply in Kent County. The initiative will work closely with the Grand Rapids Chamber to ensure that the solutions provide a thriving and prosperous community for everyone in West Michigan. The initiative will work with non-profits, for-profits, and public sector partners to accomplish this goal. (Press Release Desk)
- A new furniture liquidation boutique opens its doors at 444 Leonard St. NW in Grand Rapids. The 4,000 square foot store will include a retail showroom and a warehouse space to provide an equitable option to traditional home goods stores. FURN sells rugs, beds, couches, dining room tables, pillows, art prints, and much more. (MLive.com)
- The Grand Rapids Public Library announces that they will resume normal library hours beginning on Mar. 14. 2022. The decision was made after the library's board of commissioners held a vote. Visitors to the library are encouraged to wear masks but a mandate is not in place. (WOODTV.com)
