MI Man Fatally Shoots Wife, 6 Kids Before Turning Gun On Himself: Sheriff
Officials do not believe there are any other suspects involved in the incident.

OTTAWA COUNTY, MI — A Michigan man fatally shot his wife and six children before turning the gun on himself last Friday, officials said Monday.
The shooting happened shortly before noon last Friday inside a Grand Haven Township home on Riverside Trail where officers found eight people, including six kids, dead, officials said.
Officials said 47-year-old Kristopher Karolkiewicz fatally shot his wife, 39-year-old Amanda, and his six kids before shooting himself inside the burning home.

Officials were still investigating the cause of the fire, but said they believe the fires were intentionally set in multiple areas of the home.
Autopsies showed all eight died from gunshot wounds, officials said.

Officials did not identify the children, but said four were boys, ages 15, 12, 11, and 5, and two girls who were both 11 years old. Two of the children were adopted, officials added.
Grand Haven Area Public Schools announced it would be providing support for students and staff impacted by the family's deaths.
Officials do not believe there are any other suspects involved in the incident.
