This MI Restaurant Is Among Yelp's Top 100

GRAND RAPIDS, MI — A popular Grand Rapids restaurant was named among the best places to eat in the nation.

Butcher’s Union, located at 438 Bridge St NW, came in at No. 11 on Yelp’s Top 100 U.S. Restaurants list for 2026. It was the only Michigan restaurant ranked on the list.

The restaurant is best known for its variety of meat selections, as well as fish, poultry and pasta dishes. They also offer cocktails, wine, beer and whiskey.

Yelp created the list through a combination of community submissions and data from restaurants across the country.

In a social media post, restaurant staff thanked the community and said they were "honored to be included on the list along with so many other amazing restaurants."

Butcher’s Union had 4.6/5 rating with nearly 1,500 reviews on Yelp.

"Found myself in GR and knew I had to try Butcher's Union. Now I have to come back! Phenomenal spot with great burgers and ambiance," one reviewer wrote.

"Food was incredible! Highly recommend the wagyu filet. It was a perfect medium rare and perfect portion," another reviewer wrote.

"The atmosphere was cool and relaxing, the food was fantastic, and the service was excellent," another reviewer said. "The Brussels sprouts were amazing, the Wagyu sirloin was excellent, and my wife raved about the salmon."
