Michael Baer Named to Forbes Top 250 Next-Gen Wealth Advisor List
Merrill Wealth Management Advisor in Portage, MI Named to the 2019 Forbes Top 250 Next-Gen Wealth Advisors list
Kalamazoo resident Michael Baer, a Senior Vice President and Wealth Management Advisor for Merrill in Portage, has been named to the 2019 Forbes Top 250 Next-Gen Wealth Advisors list. He joined Merrill in 2000, and his areas of specialty include retirement planning and analysis, cash management strategies and employee stock options. 2019 is the second straight year he has been named to the Forbes Next-Gen list.
Baer has a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Western Michigan University.
The Forbes Next-Gen Wealth Advisors rankings, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criterion, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data. Those advisors that are considered have a minimum of four years' experience, and the algorithm weighs factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass the highest standards of best practices. Portfolio performance is not a criterion due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data.
