🌱 Police Cruiser Hit Twice + 3 Teens Arrested Following Gunshot

Here are the top 3 stories today in Grand Rapids:

  1. Grandville Police are asking drivers to slow down and move over when they pass an emergency vehicle on the roadside. This comes after one police cruiser was hit by two different vehicles on Saturday morning, the department said on Facebook. The cruiser was parked on the shoulder of I-196 when it was hit.   2. Police arrested three teenagers and confiscated three guns after they say shots were fired from a vehicle in Grand Rapids on Saturday morning. At about 1:00 a.m., a police sergeant was driving southbound on Jefferson Avenue SE at Pleasant Street SE when he saw a vehicle driving "erratically." At one point, the sergeant saw a single gunshot come from the vehicle. (WOODTV.com)
  3. Help is available for Grand Rapid residents who are struggling to pay rent during the pandemic. The City is reminding community members that they can apply online now for COVID Emergency Rental Assistance. Residents can also apply in person. (Fox17)
