Ron Jackson Insurance Employee Receives Award

West Bend honors its agents and the nonprofit organizations they support

West Bend Mutual Insurance announced that it has given its Spirit of the Silver Lining Award to Adam Jackson, Vice President at Ron Jackson Insurance. The award honors West Bend agents and the nonprofit organizations they support for their dedication to delivering a silver lining to those in need.

Jackson was presented the Spirit of the Silver Lining Award for his work with Open Doors Kalamazoo where Jackson is a Board Member. Additionally, West Bend donated a $10,000 grant to the organization.

Founded in 1970, Open Doors Kalamazoo is a nonprofit that aims to lessen homelessness through housing, employment and education opportunities. Since its inception, the program has evolved into three distinct programs for people in need of homes. These residential programs serve homeless men and women, as well as low-wage individuals and families priced out of the housing market. Through Open Doors Kalamazoo, a Residence Community provides affordable homes and support for individuals and families who are working to overcome housing barriers.
