🌱 Shots Fired At Party Store Robbery + Flights Canceled in GR

Here are the top stories today in Grand Rapids:
- The Grand Rapids Police Department says shots were fired during a party store robbery. Around 7:35 p.m. Sunday, a masked man used a handgun to fire three shots at the clerk at Ron's Quick Stop parky store on Bridge Street NW. The clerk wasn't hit by bullets, and the suspect was last seen headed east from the store. (WOODTV.com)
- On Sunday, a boy was accidentally shot at an apartment complex in Kentwood, police say. Officers were called at about 7 p.m. Sunday for a report of a shooting near the intersection of 52nd Street and Division Avenue. Investigators believe the shooting was an accident, and the boy was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening. (WOODTV.com)
- Nine flights leaving Grand Rapids were canceled as of 11 a.m. Monday and two were delayed. The cancellations come after a weekend of wintery weather and COVID concerns. In total, 10 flights have been canceled at Gerald R. Ford International Airport so far. (WZZM13)
