• Grosse Pointe Farms warn about E-motos amid growing safety concerns (audacy.com) — Grosse Pointe Farms' Department of Public Safety is warning residents that many fast, powerful "E-motos" sold as e-bikes actually require a driver's license and can lead to fines and impoundment, especially for parents who let kids ride them. Officials cite reckless riding, property damage, and police-evading behavior, and say a separate ordinance for true e-bikes is still in the works.
