• Treat Dreams closing its Ferndale shop after 16 years (bnd.com) — A longtime Ferndale ice cream favorite, Treat Dreams, is closing its original Woodward Avenue shop at the end of October, but will live on through a food truck and a new partnership with Sweets². The business previously operated a Grosse Pointe Woods location, which shut down in recent years, so local fans will now need to seek out the truck for their favorite flavors.
