Body Found Along Lake St. Clair In Grosse Pointe Shores: Police

GROSSE POINTE SHORES, MI — Police found a body along Lake St. Clair in Grosse Pointe Farms on Tuesday.

Officials found the body near the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club in Grosse Pointe Shores, according to coast guard officials.

Officials did not immediately identify the body, but the news comes as crews were searching for a 74-year-old man who fell overboard from a boat in Lake St. Clair on Saturday night.

The man was not wearing a life jacket, officials said.

Rescue crews focused the search on an area between the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club and Pier Park in Grosse Pointe Farms.

That search was suspended on Sunday after all resources, including those on the water and air, were exhausted.
