Are There Aliens Among Us!

Are There Aliens Among Us!

Back in April of this year a committee of five former lawmakers including Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick gathered in Washington, D.C. to examine evidence of extraterrestrial life on earth.  Each member was to be paid $20,000 plus expenses.  The group was to meet from April 29 through May 3 and was to question individuals who either believed that aliens were among us or individuals who in fact had interacted with the little green men from who knows where!  Since then, the results from that elite group of ET researchers has not been circulated and that is disappointing.  Shouldn’t we be notified if the earth is being inhabited by extraterrestrials? Certainly the Neighborhood Welcoming Committee would want to know.

Wouldn’t it be interesting though if the committee called people to testify who claim to have been abducted by aliens!  That would be worth the price of admission.  And in that regard, why is it that when people are supposedly contacted by people from other planets they are from a southern state and inevitably wear bib overalls and their names are Skeeter and Cooter and there is always a corn field in the background?  Let’s also not overlook the claim from these yokels that the aliens always submit them to an anal probe – yikes!  Perhaps the aliens are really frustrated proctologists in need of medical volunteers!

In any event, should we be concerned that the committee discovered alien life on our planet and decided to deep six the findings?  Should we be ever vigilant in making new friends? And why does my new neighbor have a strong resemblance to Spock from Star Trek!  And should I be concerned with those crop circles in my yard?  Where are Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers and Tom Corbett, all space cadets when we need them!
