ATT Flying High at Detroit DTW Airport, Ranks #1
Independent research firm RootMetrics awards top spot to AT&T in recent airport wireless network performance report.
Before the plane lifts off at Detroit (DTW), AT&T* wireless customers enjoy a network ranked highest for data performance by an independent mobile analytics firm.
Seattle-based RootMetrics® today released a wireless data performance study for Detroit DTW. AT&T was ranked #1 at Detroit DTW as the RootMetrics Airport RootScore® Award winner for its data performance. **
“Our customers rely on staying connected while they travel,” said Brian Ducharme, vice president/general manager for AT&T in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio. “They want to get in touch with colleagues, family, and friends before they leave or as soon as they walk off the plane. With AT&T, customers can read email, send photos, check the news, and much more while traveling.”

“AT&T ranked first at Detroit DTW for data network performance, according to our research conducted during the second half of 2014. We tested data performance across all networks in publicly accessible areas within Detroit, including common areas such as check-in, baggage claim, and terminals. AT&T ranked first in the Airport RootScore® Award for data network performance in Detroit, MI (DTW)” said Bill Moore, RootMetrics’ President and CEO.
