Police Standoff In Harper Woods Ends: Report
The 57-year-old man was taken into police custody.
HARPER WOODS, MI — A 57-year-old armed man was taken into police custody Thursday morning after a he barricaded himself inside a Harper Woods home on Lochmoor Street near Harper Avenue and Vernier Road, multiple outlets reported.
The man peacefully surrendered to officers at 8:52 a.m. after a six hour standoff, police said.
No injuries were reported, police said.

The incident started Thursday morning when the 57-year-old man fired a shot from his gun after a verbal argument with his family, police said.
