Honey Wheat Ale Update - Homebrew Club?

Update on honey wheat ale brewing and a call for a Grosse Pointe homebrewing club.

Since I said I would check back - here I am. My honey wheat ale came out beautifully and measured out at about 6.2% alcohol by volume. It is sitting in my kegerator carbonating for a few days. I likely won't be able to wait that long and will drink some flat beer just to try it out.

There have been a few people in the Grosse Pointe area who are interested in starting a homebrew club. Count me in as a member, just as long as I don't have to run it! All it takes is a group of about three or four people to get together and make beer to create a club. The primary benefit of the club is the sharing of equipment, recipes, expertise and, of course, beer. Clubs also can enter competitions and hold events.  Post on this blog and I'll try to assemble the group.
