Grosse Pointe Theatre announces auditions for Rehearsal
for Murder. The show will be performed November 4, 8-11 and 15-17, 2012 at the Grosse Pointe War
Memorial’s Fries Auditorium. For Further Information & Loan of Script Call: Grosse Pointe Theatre Ticket/Auditions at 313-881-4004. Rehearsal for Murder is a play of mystery and intrigue in which tension builds with every scene. Each cast member, in their own way, contributes to that tension. Experienced "actors" must work to pull
the audience into the twists and turns of the plot. But it is also an excellent opportunity for others to "get their feet wet" or to get back on stage for "that one brief shining moment".....especially in the non-featured roles. There are no ages given for the characters. Casting will depend on the relation of those auditioning for the parts. Rehearsal for Murder was adapted for the stage by D.D. Brooke
from the television play by Richard Levinson and William Link. The show is being directed by Arlene Marie Schoenherr. Go to www.gpt.org for character descriptions.
