Grosse Pointe War Memorial is offering a U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Boating Skills and Seamanship course. This is a comprehensive class that works for both the experienced and the novice boater. You'll learn the rules of the road, aids to navigation, boat handling, safety and legal requirements. A certificate and Boating Safety Card are awarded upon successful completion of the class and exam, which will be given April 20.
Cost is $68 for 8 weeks and includes exam and materials, or $73 on day class begins.
