Head for the border for a day of gambling. The City of Grosse Pointe Woods is organzing a day trip to Caesars Windsor Casino on the Canadian side of the Detroit River.
The Grosse Pointe Woods Community Center is sponsoring the trip, which is planned for Thursday, March 22. Guests will enjoy transportation aboard a luxury motor coach, plenty of time to play at the casino, and $20 to be used at the buffet, a casino restaurant, or at the slots.
The bus to the Caesars Windsor Casino leaves the Grosse Pointe Woods Community Center, 20025 Mack Plaza, at 9 a.m. and returns at 4 p.m. These casino trips fill up quickly, so register early to secure your seat on the bus. Be advised that a valid US passport or “enhanced” driver’s license is required to get into Canada.
