If you're in the mood for a bit of shopping — especially once that spring fever hits — consider this the perfect opportunity.
Grosse Pointe Woods Community Center is organizing a day trip to IKEA in Canton, which leaves the center at 9 am and returns at 2 pm. Once you arrive at IKEA, you'll enjoy a complimentary breakfast in the store restaurant. Then you'll get time to browse the mega-store and check out all the merchandise, which includes everything from furniture to home accessories, all at great prices.
Please note: The path through the building is almost a mile long, so bring your walking shoes.
