The Grosse Pointe Power Squadron will be offering its Basic
Boating Safety Course in the Grosse Pointe North Cafeteria. Registration takes place on Monday February 27th at 7:00 PM. The class will cover regulations, rules of the water, marine knots, VHS radio usage, boat handling, aids to navigation, charts, introductory piloting and GPS usage. The 10 week course will be held on Monday's at 7:30. Upon completion and passing an exam students will receive both a USPS and DNR certificates.
