Grosse Pointe Symphony Orchestra holds a wine tasting gala 7 p.m. Oct. 5 at Grosse Pointe Woods City Hall. A string group from the orchestra, a woodwind quintet and the Grunyons will entertain the crowds. There will also be appetizers, a gift basket auction and, of course, wine.
Suggested donation is $25.
