The Grosse Pointe Theatre presents The Dixie Swim Club, a comedy about friendship by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten. Five Southern women who met in college set aside a long weekend each August to meet at the same beach cottage. The Dixie Swim Club focuses on four of those weekends and spans 33 years.
Evening shows are at 8 pm; Sunday matinees are at 2 pm. Students with valid IDs may purchase tickets at the box office — 315 Fisher Road — the day of the show at half price.
There will be a special Ladies Night Out showing March 16. The $25 admission includes a reception, hors d'oeuvres and a chance to shop.
