Grosse Pointe Woods Easter Egg Hunt

The City of Grosse Pointe Woods holds its Easter Egg hunt on Saturday, March 31. The Easter Bunny will be making an appearance at 11 a.m. sharp at Lake Front Park, and he'll be bringing eggs, treats, and a petting zoo.

When the kids arrive they'll get a bag they'll use to collect eggs. Groups will hunt for eggs, and the kids who find a "golden egg" will get a special prize.

There are several hunts planned, the first beginning at 11:10 a.m. and the last around 11:30 a.m. It's best to arrive no later than 11 a.m. to ensure a timely start.

Afterwards, kids will head over to the Activities Building where they can trade their haul for a treat bag and a visit with the Easter Bunny. Parents are advised to bring their cameras so they can snap some shots of this unforgettable visit.

The hunt is open to Woods residents and their guests when they register by Friday, March 23. The cost is $4 per child.
