Hamtramck Labor Day Fest

Hamtramck is holding its 31st annual Labor Day Festival Sept. 3-5.

Joseph Campau Street and Hamtramck will be hopping with fun. The Hamtramck Yacht Race returns, where bar patrons race down Joseph Campau on push-carts.  That happens at noon Sept. 5.

The Polish Day Parade starts at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 5, with dancers, marching bands and more.

Daily, vistors can enjoy live music on two stages, carnival rides and the art fair. Plus there's a pub crawl planned for Saturday and Sunday nights. And of course a Polish festival would be incomplete without food.
