Ladies, make a special night of it with a night of appetizers, shopping and theater, beginning with a 5:30 pm reception at the Crystal Ballroom at War Memorial. There you'll be able to shop and browse, sip martinis or wine, and nibble on tasty appetizers.
Then the crowd will venture downstairs to the Fries Auditorium to see the Grosse Pointe Theatre's presentation of The Dixie Swim Club, a comedy about friendship by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten.
The $25 price includes the performance and a strolling reception of hors d'oeuvres. A number of local shops will have items set up for display this evening, conveniently on sitel. A cash bar will also be available.
