Come to War Memorial and learn to cook Polish desserts. Instructor Emily Kort grew up on these treats, and she'll share her expertise with you. You'll learn to make Mazurek, a European coffeehouse favorite; Polish Crescent Nut Cookies; and the powdered-sugar covered fried cookie known as Chrusciki or Angel Wings. Everyone will roll up their sleeves to make these sweets and will take hom samples. Please bring a 9” x 13” pan with cover and a paper bag in which to take home desserts.
