Bassist Ralphe Armstrong comes from a family of musicians, studied at Interlochen, and has played with the likes of D-12, James Carter and Curtis Mayfield. He'll bring his jazzy stylings (with hints of funk and hip-hop) to the Dirty Dog Jazz Café this New Year's Eve for two shows. He'll perform one set from 5-8 p.m., and a second one from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. $20 per person cover charge.
