The Flutter and Wow is moving, fun, and flirtatious traditional americana, with a touch of Detroit city steel. The band's central dogma is great songwriting, and engaging performances.The group is an acoustic collective who bring an engaging show featuring intriguing and catchy original music and uniquely arranged new and vintage cult americana cover songs.
The Flutter and Wow is the result of a reluctant (desiring not to go the way of Fleetwood Mac et al) but magical collaboration between the husband and wife songwriting team of professional music veterans Tasha and Brian Lord. Finally their irresistible chemistry, and harmonious complimentary talents and musicality won out. As a result, the live band was established in March 2011, with their debut recording released in October 2011. Much in the vein of Buddy and Julie Miller, the couple do not always share the stage for every performance, but the band line-up led by Tasha Lord is completed with a veritable showcase of some of the finest Michigan has to offer, and the music and chemistry is unmistakable.
