Grosse Pointe War Memorial is having a tea service in its historic Alger House on Tuesday, Oct. 4, from 2-4 p.m. Enjoy tea, scones served with jam and Devonshire cream, English finger sandwiches, and miniature tea pastries at tables set with fine china while soft piano music plays in the background.
