The Family Center hosts free Kindergarten Essentials seminar April 13
Expert Angelina Spiteri will provide guests with strategies to facilitate the skills preschoolers need to be successful in kindergarten.
The Family Center of Grosse Pointe and Harper Woods hosts free Kindergarten Essentials: Ensuring Successful Transition for Your Child seminar on April 13 at 7 p.m. in Miller Hall at Christ Church of Grosse Pointe, located at 61 Grosse Pointe Blvd in Grosse Pointe Farms. Expert Angelina Spiteri, Director of the Reading and Language Arts Center in Grosse Pointe, will provide parents and professionals with strategies to facilitate the skills preschoolers need to be successful in kindergarten. Parents, grandparents or guardians with children entering kindergarten are welcome. Talk begins at 7 p.m. Please register in advance for complimentary dinner at 6 p.m. and childcare.
