The Family Center of Grosse Pointe & Harper Woods has been awarded the 2015 Pointer of Distinction Award for Excellence in Nonprofit Activity. This new award was given for the first time by the Grosse Pointe Chamber of Commerce during its annual dinner on January 29, 2015.
Three additional Pointer of Distinction Award categories, Excellence in Business, Youth Achievement and Community Service, were awarded that evening to individuals and businesses for their outstanding achievements.
