Good News, Tigers Fans: Z Parking Garage Is Open
The Detroit Tigers take on the Chicago White Sox at 12:10 p.m.
Updated. DETROIT, MI — A vehicle fire occurred around 8:10 a.m. at The Z parking garage, but the structure is open for use by Detroit Tigers fans attending Wednesday's game against the White Sox, a spokesperson for Rock Ventures said.
The Detroit Fire Department responded and completely extinguished the fire and confirmed there were no injuries.
There is minimal smoke damage to a very small, isolated area of the garage.

"We contacted and are working with the individuals whose vehicles were affected," the spokesperson added.
The parking garage has been inspected and is open.

Twitter user Matt Thompson tweeted that a car fire in the parking lot “may cause issues” for people heading to the game.
