Fossil Festival coming this Friday, November 21
An educational fun festival, especially for children ages 6-12. Grosse Pointe North High School, 707 Vernier Road 5:00 - 7:30 pm, Nov. 21st
Fossil Festival will feature fossil crafts and games, a scavenger hunt, trivia contest, spelling bee and even dinosaur-themed planetarium shows. Bring in your mystery fossils and ask a paleontologist from the Michigan Geological Repository to identify them. Prizes will be awarded for contests and games. There’s even a Fossil Mart where you can buy fossil gifts.
