Free heart screening event this weekend

Free EKGs and additional screenings offered to the public as part of the annual Fox 2 Healthy Heart Project with St. John Providence

St. John Providence and FOX 2 Detroit are once again teaming up to offer the free “Healthy Heart Project” event to the community. The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 7 a.m. until 10.a.m. at:

• St. John Hospital and Medical Center - 22101 Moross in Detroit

Each participant will receive an electrocardiogram, which is a non-invasive electrical recording of the heart, as well as a blood glucose test, blood pressure screening, body mass index and a one-on-one consultation with a medical professional about heart health.
