Grosse Pointe Woods Teen Dies After Running in I-94 Traffic: Police
The man ran across three lanes of traffic, jumped a wall and stood in front of a large semi-truck, Harper Woods police said.

Police are saying little about the death of an 18-year-old Grosse Pointe Woods man who struck and killed by a semi-truck after running in traffic on I-94 in Harper Woods Wednesday afternoon.
In a statement, Harper Woods Public Safety Director Jim Burke said police received several calls about the teen before 5 p.m. The victim hasn’t been identified.
Preliminary information indicates the man ran down the embankment from northbound Harper near Kingsville onto the freeway and ran across all three lanes of eastbound traffic on I-94. The man then jumped the wall and stood in front of oncoming traffic on westbound I-94 near Kenosha, where he was fatally struck by the semi, police said.
