
There's never a shortage of news stories, articles, and yes - blog posts, regarding how to stay healthy during the holidays. Every time a news story comes on, I always tune in...
I hear stuff like...
Eat a salad before you leave the house. Skip the dessert. Have a water after each drink. Eat protein instead of carbs. Snack on veggies. Take a walk. Blah, blah, blah.
Whatever.
Here's my tip. Eat healthy the other three hundred fifty something days of the year. On holidays - eat whatever the hell you want. Have seconds, drink too much and don't feel bad about it. And have fun!
Unless you don't want to - then don't. And if you are happy eating a bunless hamburger or a salad at the Labor Day cookout - have at it!
