Keep Loved Ones' Memories with the StoryCorps App!
The StoryCorps App is free, easy to use, and a fun way to treasure stories from you loved ones.

The new app was created as a resource to record and share the life stories that are all around you. You can choose to keep the stories to yourself, or share them with the world.
StoryCorps was founded in 2003 and is a non-profit organization that has given 100,000 people the chance to record interviews about their private lives, pass wisdom from one generation to the next, and leave a legacy for the future. In 2006 they launched the Memory Loss Initiative to support and encourage people with various forms of memory loss to share their stories.
StoryCorps was originally created as an in-person interview with a StoryCorps facilitator present to record and encourage conversation. With the launch of the app, interviews can now be recorded by anyone, anywhere, anytime and then shared to the StoryCorps companion website at StoryCorps.me. For at least a year after launch, interviews shared to StoryCorps.me through the app will be archived at the American Folklife Center at the United States Library of Congress.
