On April 29 The Lake House will host Laughs for the Lake House in St. Clair Shores. The evening will have dining and a comedy show!

On Sunday, April 29, 2018 The Lake House will host Laughs for the Lake House at the Assumption Cultural Center (located at 21800 Marter Rd., St. Clair Shores, MI). The event will feature Los Angeles’ Don Friesen. All proceeds from the event will benefit The Lake House and the programs it provides to those who have been touched by cancer. These programs include yoga, Zumba, crafting, journaling, knitting, drum circle, reiki, bereavement and support groups and more.

The Lake House Director Madeline Bialecki said, “Laughs for The Lake House is a great time for the community to come together for a wonderful evening and support those touched by cancer. We’re especially excited about our comedian headliner, as Don is the only two-time winner in the 40-year history of the prestigious San Francisco International Comedy Competition. It’s sure to be an entertaining night.”

Tickets are $60 per person in advance, and $70 at the door, which includes one beer or wine ticket. To purchase tickets, please call (586) 777-7761 or visit http://milakehouse.org/laughs-for-lake-house/. The event kicks off at 5 p.m. with silent auction, wine pull, hors d ’oeuvres, deserts and a cash bar. At 6:15 p.m. the program will begin.
