NEW EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP AT GROSSE POINTE FAMILY CENTER

The Family Center of Grosse Pointe and Harper Woods recently appointed new leadership to its 16-member Board of Directors. The slate of officers elected during the September meeting included Cathy Leverenz, president; Pamela Flom, vice president; Deann Newman, treasurer; and Erin O’Mara, secretary.

Returning to The Family Center Board of Directors are Ann Marie Aliotta, Mary Beth Austin, Gabriela Boddy, Dona Johnson-Beach, Lynne Merrill Aldrich, Rebecca Papas, Milissa Pierce, Rania Routsis, Marina Southers, Beth Walsh-Sahutske and Rev. Richard Yeager-Stiver. Joining the board this year are James, Clevenger, PhD., Rev. Peter J.M. Henry, and Robert Moorhead. All members will serve during the 2015-16 term.

The Family Center Board of Directors are charged with helping to continue the nonprofit’s mission of serving the community through programs and resources that are vital to today’s families. According to Board Member Rev. Henry, “In a day and age in which parents need all the help they can get, The Family Center offers resources and professionals who make a difference to parents and children. I want to be a part of continuing and deepening that pool of resources.”
