Pettipointe Questers #243 present "An Antique Appraisal Fair on the Nautical Mile"
Bring your antique treasures and our local expert appraisers will have a look and share information about your pieces.
Questers are a national organization that study and preserve antiques. Our motto is "It's fun to search and a joy to find!" Our chapter chose the "pettipointe" name because the name reflects the way our members, like the colorful and beautiful stitches called pettipointe, gather together to make a beautiful tapestry of sharing a passion for collecting and enjoying antiques and preserving them. In 2016 our chapter celebrated a wonderful 50-year anniversary.
On Wednesday, April 26, 2017 the Pettipointe Questers Chapter #243 of Grosse Pointe are having an antique appraisal event at Blossom Heath Inn, St. Clair Shores, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Bring us a "treasure" that is hiding in your basement, attic, garage, or on the wall and find out some information about the piece. We have many antique appraisers volunteering their time to make this successful.
The cost is $5.00 for each item being appraised, maximum 3 items per person. Local expert appraisers will be on site to have a look at your coins, stamps, books, jewelry, military items, glass, china, artwork, dolls, violins and much more.

This event is being held to benefit the preservation of the Scarab Club building in Detroit. We are excited about holding this event, which combines our love of antiques, benefiting the preservation of the Scarab Club building, and holding the event at this historic nautical mile banquet facility.
This is the second appraisal event that the Questers Pettipointe #243 chapter has held in three years. The last one was very successful, and the proceeds benefited the Selinsky-Green Farmhouse Museum kitchen renovation, located in St. Clair Shores.
