Police Search for Red SUV That Took a Spin Through Grosse Pointe Farms Golf Course

No significant damage found but officials say they will prosecute driver for trespassing.

(Posted Nov. 3, 2016) GROSSE POINTE FARMS, MI — Drivin' a red SUV? Been in Grosse Pointe Farms lately? Have suspiciously bright green turf under your mud flaps? The police might want to have a word with you. WWJ News Radio is reporting that a motorist roughed up the grounds of the Country Club of Detroit along Kercheval Avenue near Moross Road.

The incident happened just before 8 p.m. Wednesday. Witnesses repoted seeing a midsize red SUV with LED headlights driving on the golf course, which sustained minimal damage.

The suspect could face a trespassing charge. Anyone with any information is urged to contact police at 313-885-2100.
