Where is your favorite war memorial in Michigan?
Road Trip? I'm compiling a guide to Veterans Memorials in Michigan, with a target of having it completed by Memorial Day. It's in honor of my late father-in-law, Norman Bielak, a WWII combat wounded veteran and a personal hero of mine.
The Road Trip will start at the Veterans Memorial Park in Port Austin, Michigan, which is only a few steps away from the Port Austin house that has been in my wife's family for almost 100 years.
