Special Author Visit to Grosse Pointe, Peter Ho Davies

On Wednesday, April 26 at the Woods Branch (20680 Mack Ave Grosse Pointe Woods) of the GPPL, at 7 pm, the Friends of the Grosse Pointe Public Library is proud to be hosting novelist, Peter Ho Davies, as he discusses his new book, The Fortunes. The novel describes the Chinese American experience in the United States including stories about Vincent Chin, the building of the Transcontinental Railroad, Hollywood’s first Chinese movie star, and a biracial writer visiting China for an adoption.
