East Side Youth Sports Foundation invites children to experience hockey, lacrosse, soccer, football, baseball and yoga!

Detroit, MI (September 9, 2016) – East Side Youth Sports Foundation (ESYSF) invites families to The Mack Athletic Complex (The MAC) located at 4300 Marseilles Street on Detroit’s east side on Saturday, October 1, 2016 for a “Try Sports For Free” clinic and facility open house. From 12PM – 2PM local youth, ages 4 to 11, are encouraged to experience hockey, lacrosse, soccer, football, baseball and yoga in a fun, safe environment. They will have the opportunity to talk with coaches, try basic skills, learn about local playing opportunities and scholarships, as well as visit the businesses inside The MAC.

“We look forward to introducing children to a sport that they may have never played before,” said Brian Francis, Board of Directors President. “Organized recreational sports with coaches and mentors play an extremely important role in revitalizing our neighborhood. Our goal is not only to educate families on local sporting opportunities but enroll the children so they can experience the many advantages of sports.”

In addition to trying the sports, children will receive a t-shirt, piece of pizza and the opportunity to win a Nerf War party at The MAC.
