Viewfinder: Grosse Pointe Boating Season
Marinas at all of the residential Grosse Pointe parks are looking more full as residents take their boats out of storage and get them in the water.
A few Grosse Pointers braved the heat to get their boats ready for the season Wednesday but most were quiet likely due to the extreme heat for which the National Weather Service issued a heat advisory.
Patch visited the marinas at , , and . Marinas in all of the Pointes have vacancies and slips are still available. City officials have expressed a seemingly high occupancy rate in some of the Pointes.
