Viewfinder: Mayors For Meals

For the last seven years, the mayors of Grosse Pointes have helped deliver meals during the national March for Meals campaign by the Meals on Wheels Association of America, which created Mayors For Meals in 2006.

Grosse Pointe mayors made their deliveries Wednesday. According to the association's website, mayors across the country participate. 

became a member of the national Meals on Wheels association in 2002, although it offered its own meal program for many years prior. SOC delivers one hot meal and one cold meal five days a week, as well as all holidays, regardless of the day.
