Walking

Walking a little more and thereby driving a little less, is a great way to reduce our impact on the planet.   Luckily Grosse Pointe is a great place to begin ditching your car!   Do you have errands to run in GP, and also spend a certain amount of time exercising?   Take the time you would have spent exercising and walk or jog to the bank, the store, the doctor's office.    Chances are you'll run into someone you know and have an interesting conversation to boot!  Your car might start getting lonely, but then it may live longer for you too.
