So who do you think you are? Discover more about your own family history at the Louisa St. Clair Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution Genealogy Workshop on Saturday, March 19, 2016, 10 am – 1 pm at the Neighborhood Club, 17150 Waterloo in Grosse Pointe. Presentation includes a slideshow, handouts, and volunteer genealogists who can assist you in breaking down that obstacle to expand branches on your family tree.
If this is your first genealogy research experience, it would be very helpful to bring the names, birth/death dates and state of residence for your parents, grandparents and as many generations as you can currently identify.
All are welcome---our DAR Chapter membership is comprised of women of all ages, careers and experiences. Perhaps you might find a family patriot who served the American Revolution making you eligible to join the largest women’s service organization in the world.
Please join us for an opportunity to learn techniques and tips for discovering your family heritage.
Please register for your complimentary space before March 12th to: peggyscully@me.com
