• Newberry's Taylor fastest at Negaunee Invite (miningjournal.net) — Gwinn High School runners made a solid showing at Tuesday’s Negaunee Invitational cross country meet, with freshman Rylee Brower and sophomore John Green leading the Modeltowners. The meet featured strong competition from Newberry, Negaunee, Houghton, Ishpeming, and Republic-Michigamme, with Newberry’s Abby Taylor and Houghton’s Brandon Van Karsen winning the individual races and Negaunee and Houghton taking team titles.
