Birch Run Premium Outlets hosts first-ever 'Girlfriends Weekend'

Birch Run Premium Outlets invites the area’s most savvy shoppers out for Girlfriends Weekend, a three-day, jam-packed shopping extravaganza with some serious savings. On Friday, April 8, through Sunday, April 10, shoppers can search the racks, along with their shopping A-Team, at participating merchants to bag some of the best deals of the year, while taking advantage of additional center events.

Modeled after the famed Deer Widows Weekend, Girlfriends Weekend is one more excuse for shoppers to grab their friends and treat themselves to a weekend full of steals and deals.

Throughout the weekend shoppers can visit Birch Run Premium Outlets’ on-site information center to pick up a free Girlfriends Weekend Guide, featuring special savings from Ann Taylor, Eddie Bauer, Harry & David, Levi’s, The North Face, Tommy Hilfiger, and many more. The schedule for Girlfriends Weekend 2016 is as follows:

Friday, April 8:

· Harry & David will be hosting a chocolate tasting in-store from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Enjoy live music, a chocolate fountain and assorted fruit and cheese to dip in the delicious chocolate made from their truffles.

Saturday, April 9:

· Deals & Donuts kicks off at 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. in the Information Center in Section F. Join us to get a heads up on all the hot deals for the weekend while enjoying free coffee and donuts.

· Relax and recharge in the afternoon with a pit stop at the Information Center in Section F between noon – 3 p.m. Be pampered with a complimentary professional chair message courtesy of Soaring Eagle Spa & Salon.

· Complimentary Limo Service, courtesy of Complete Limo and Tommy Hilfiger, will be offered in addition to our traditional trolley service from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Enjoy being carted around like royalty to and from your hotel as well as around the shopping center.

· Take a snap shot with your shopping A-Team in the on-site photo booth from noon – 5 p.m.

Sunday, April 10:

· Visa gift card giveaway worth $500. Shoppers who turn in receipts for every $100 spent (from any purchases made between Friday, at 10:00 a.m., to Sunday, at noon,) will be entered into a drawing to win a $500 Visa gift card. The more you spend, the more chances there are to win. Receipts can be submitted to the Information Center in Section F.
